The term “employability” at Institutions of Higher Education describes the challenge of providing the opportunities to develop knowledge, skills, experiences and attitudes of graduates to make a successful transition and contribution to their professional life. It is for the benefit to them, the economy and their communities. Employability is relevant to all students, and at all levels of study, it includes both undergraduate and postgraduate provision. Thus, employability is a task to be tackled both by institutions of Higher Education in their academic and managerial units and the industry.
The DAAD Alumni workshop aims at targeting relevant issues such as strategies, formats, organizational development and capacity building of administrators and lecturers as well as the expectation of employers, students and Higher Education institutions. It also includes cooperation formats with employers, internship formats as well as learning and teaching methods.
The workshop will be carried out with two experts from the University of Münster, Germany. Working language will be English.
