The National Agency for EU Higher Education Cooperation at DAAD and the DAAD Regional Office in Hanoi, Vietnam, invite higher education representatives from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia to take part in this upcoming Erasmus+ Networking Forum. The main goal of the Erasmus+ Networking Forum is to intensify and improve higher education cooperation between South-East-Asia and Germany in the framework of Erasmus+, the current programme of the European Union (EU) for Education, Training, Youth and Sport.

Selected higher education representatives from Germany will have the possibility to network with their colleagues from Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Malaysia. Participants will be informed about funding opportunities in Erasmus+ with a focus on Key Action 2 "Capacity Building in the field of Higher Education" (CBHE), about the Bologna and ASEM processes. The conference will also inform on Erasmus+ mobility opportunities and DAAD bilateral cooperation possibilities between Germany and Southeastern Asian countries. The EU programme Erasmus+ (2014-2020) includes a strong international dimension in the field of higher education and supports several actions targeting cooperation between Europe and other regions in the world. Especially Erasmus+ Key Action 2 activity Capacity Building in Higher Education supports the modernisation of higher education in EU’s partner countries in the world.
